Hamburg Leuchtfeuer – unser gemeinnütziger Benefiz-Partner
On different levels Hamburg Leuchtfeuer contributes to handle the situation of illness, dying and death. They create this special situation more humanly and therefore accomplish a modified awareness in the population.
Hamburg Leuchtfeuer was established in 1994 as a nonprofit organisation. The network of Hamburg Leuchtfeuer covers the Hamburg Leuchtfeuer hospice, the Hamburg Leuchtfeuer “Lotsenhaus” and the psychosocial support with the information about a living space.
Hamburg Leuchtfeuer hospice offers a protected place with an individual care and support to seriously ill and dying people.
The psychosocial support with the information about a living area offers a professional consultation to people with HIV and AIDS. Helping with questions and problems, it supports these people with the procurement of a suitable living space.
The “Lotsenhaus” of Hamburg Leuchtfeuer is located in the Museumstrasse in Hamburg Altona. It is a house for sorrow, parting and remembrance. The “Lotsenhaus” has three pillars: The sorrow house accompanies people, who are in sorrow, individually or in groups. The funeral house is aligned to the personal organisation of a parting process and to individual funerals. The education house offers lectures, conferences, workshops and advanced training to interested people.
Only by donations the quality of Hamburg Leuchtfeuer´s charitable work can be sustained in the future. Donation account: Dresdner Bank, Spendenkonto 0900 100100, BLZ 200 800 00.
