The Toewerland - which name comes from the Frisian word Toewer = charm, is a 2000 year old sand island. Water and wind developed the island core, which was then settled by plants, later by animals and humans. The airport is located on its eastern end, which is approximately 4 km away from the local centre. Coming from the airport, you can use horse carriages to get to the local centre.

The Westfalenhof is located in the centre of the village, very close to the cure house, beach and the spa. Our house offers a natural hospitality and a calm, pleasant ambience.
